Gasthaus Konigsruhe - Thale

Nette und gute Bedienung. Warmes Essen und Kuchen waren gut, es hat nur etwas auf unseren Plätzen gezogen.

Vorweg: ich kann mich nicht erinnern, wann ich das letzte Mal eine Gaststätte ohne Trinkgeld zu geben verlassen habe. Heute war es so weit. Die Bestellaufnahme erfolgte nach einer guten halben Stunde. Nämlich, nachdem einer von uns dem Kellner hinterhergerannt ist und ihn mit Nachdruck auf unseren Bestellwunsch hingewiesen hat. Dann kam ein extrem unfreundlicher Kellner. Okay, er empfand das Hinterherrennen wohl als Majestätsbeleidigung. Das hätte ich also noch verstanden. Dann aber begann die Warterei erst richtig. Während andere, die nach uns kamen, schon ihr Essen hatten, haben wir gewartet. Und gewartet, Und gewartet. Ein Machtspiel offensichtlich, denn die Gaststätte war inzwischen fast leer. So unprofessionelles Personal habe ich wirklich noch nicht erlebt. Wenn es Überforderung war, sollte der Wirt über zusätzliches Personal nachdenken, denn wenn ich eins weiß, dann, dass ich dieses Restaurant nie wieder betreten werden und dass ich jeder und jedem abraten werden, das zu tun, zumal das Essen es jetzt auch nicht rausgerissen hat.

I visited the restaurant royal recreation as many hikers as I had visited the charming boulevard. After we had a large round, from which thale led over the hexentanzplatz, we had earned honestly magnificent cirschstreusel and a cup of coffee. they can reach the restaurant from the city, but also well in the frame of a small walk. they are already sitting there with beautiful landscape and looking at the mountains. the stay is accompanied by the flowing water, they are really nice. a great conclusion for an interesting hike.

Original, rustic and unique, they must have experienced themselves. we were on a ca. 10 km long walk from treseburg direction thale through the wild romantic “Bodetal” on the road a small piece on the 97 km long resiner hexenstieg and went to the “Gasthaus Königsruhe” on recommendation for lunch. this guest house with overnight opportunities is located directly at the “Harzer Hexenstieg” which was chosen as the most beautiful hiking trail in Germany in 2008. the traditional mountain guest house “kingsruhe” with its rustic fireplaces and the enbank is surrounded by the beautiful resinous mountain panorama, also directly at the murmeling mountain stream “Bode”, not far from the famous, notorious and legendary “Bodekessels”. for the beautiful summer days there is relaxation and relaxation in the middle of this beautiful nature, but an idyllic beer terrace. here they can easily be found by the magie of the resin we found in the gas house, has surprised us all more than pleasantly. because we were on our way as a group, our lunch was selected and reserved in advance. when we arrived, everything was ready to eat in a separate room that were rustic and suitable for the natural environment, perfectly prepared for us. on the menu are defensive, resin-typical dishes as well as specialties from wild but also fish dishes. I had decided to be roasted (small inlaid pork) apfelrotkraut and hand-rolled potato coats and my wife had ordered fried fish fillet with kartoffel pure and salat leaf (see photos). eating was not expensive and has tasted us very well, which was also confirmed by all the others by our group of hikers. the „Gasthaus Königsruhe“ at the entrance of the bodetale and directly opposite the jungle bridge (all a car-free zone,) is a perfect oasis for all nature lovers, romantics and people who love the special. Of course, the fans of a rustic kitchen come here, and so they get this message confirmed, they have to look at the photos. for us, a forest restaurant as from a picture book that we will definitely visit again when we are close again. ps. here is a notic about the wild romantic “Bodetal” I researched: the bodetal is also called “Deutscher grand Canyon”. it is not as long as deep and as wide as the real big canyon in the US state arizona, but it is also with its 450,000 years not as old as the American ****, with its 5 to 6 million years in which the “Colorado River” flows. not least a 100% more recommended by us, for the excursion destination “Gasthaus Königsruh”, in which the intoxicating podeten.

Wir hatten regionale Gerichte zum Mittag. Die Portionen sind sehr reichlich und es schmeckt wunderbar. Die Preise sind angemessen.
