Maki Of Japan - Altamonte Springs

My friend and I visited this restaurant for a study break, wanting a change of scenery from Barnes and Noble. I ordered the chicken teriyaki and opted for double meat while skipping the rice and vegetables. Unfortunately, the vegetables felt almost like an afterthought—they were barely there. I know that many similar places in mall food courts have a similar approach, but here it felt especially lacking. This really brought the experience down for me because while the meat was as good as I anticipated and the rice was just, well, rice, the overall presentation and attention to the veggies left much to be desired.

The restaurant is decent for the price, but nothing really stands out. Personally, I find the staff entertaining; they often make jokes or flirt with the attractive women who come in, but I know that's not everyone's cup of tea.
