Denny's - Altamonte Springs

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! Our server, Shanny, was excellent—she knew the menu inside and out and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. I truly appreciate exceptional customer service. The manager was also wonderful! I can't recommend this place enough!

I was craving breakfast and thought Denny's would be a safe choice. I figured the price of $10.79 for two eggs, two strips of bacon, hash browns, and toast was reasonable. However, the meal felt overpriced for what I received. When the food arrived, the toast was cold and had only a bit of butter in the middle, and the hash browns were barely cooked and also cold. Overall, there was no value in this Denny's menu item, and the quality was poor. After everything the restaurant industry has endured due to COVID-19, it saddens me to see a 30% price increase along with a 50% drop in quality. I've decided I'm done with Denny's.

Great location—conveniently situated near I-4 and the mall. Unfortunately, the service was mediocre, and the food was served at the wrong temperature. We had to wait a while to find the hostess, even though there were only two other couples in the entire restaurant at lunchtime. There seemed to be a lack of management oversight. Our waiter took our order but didn’t return to check if we were satisfied; instead, our food was brought out by a runner. We had to flag down another server just to get a coffee refill. The breakfast meat was cold and slightly undercooked. Management really needs to improve by ensuring customers are warmly greeted and that the food isn’t sitting under the warmer for too long. These issues contribute to the restaurant’s struggle to succeed.

HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. Not only did they mess up my order once but TWICE. They brought something that was way off what I ordered. All I asked for was the bacon avocado cheeseburger with no pickle or tomato. He came out with a vegetable sandwich. By the time I got the “correct item”, which was still made incorrectly, my family was done eating. At that point, give me my food to go. When the host said he’ll take off my order from the check, he said he couldn’t without a manager which there was NONE.The rest of the food ordered? GARBAGE. The pancakes were rock solid. The salmon was extremely salty. The toast was not even toasted. Horrible experience as a tourist. Now I understand why the parking lot was empty. OH! AND THERE IS NO AC!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

The absolute worst place to eat! Went there last night. Understaffed, the restaurant smells like sewage,mold. It was the only place open otherwise we would have left immediately. The first three tables our waiter brought us to were filthy. Yet there were only two other parties in the restaurant. The cooks were preoccupied with smoke brakes probably why it took them over 45 min to bring our food out. The mashed potatoes they put on my plate were so soggy watery I couldn't eat. It was beyond gross. I couldn't eat any of my food. We had to flag our waiter down to be able to pay after waiting 10 min up front. I told him his service was horrible and the food wasn't even edible. He said oh sorry I'll have to tell my cooks to make sure things are fresh.... Smh! We left and within a hour me and my bf were sick as a dog all night. Beware! Zero stars.
