If you're hungry this is not the place. Very expensive and not much food. What you get will be good but you'll need to hit another place after to satisfy hunger. 3oz of meat $58

I have come to the Alta-Snowbird mountain to ski every year since 1975 .. I discovered The shaft after talking to some locals in 1986 . I have never been disappointed with the food or service until this season ..My group arrived on February6th for our ski week and the first thing we did was to make a couple of shaft reservations. The first night,7 of us went to the shaft for dinner. The service was very slow and the meal was a great disapointment, I could not Finnish my meal. The first time ever, and not just me , everyone felt the same. The next day we cancelled our future reservations. what happened????
