Sakura Japanese Express - Alsip

This cozy little spot is a hidden gem with amazing freshly made sushi. I've been there twice with two friends, and we absolutely loved everything we ordered. The lunch special is fantastic, offering a choice of soup or salad along with two or three traditional rolls. My favorites are the avocado salmon rolls, paired with miso soup and eel sauce. The food is prepared quickly and right in front of you, which adds to the experience. The vegetable egg rolls are also incredible—always hot and crispy. This will definitely be my go-to place for sushi. I highly recommend giving it a try!

I ordered food for pickup and went to collect it. Unfortunately, the staff member who assisted me was quite rude. He simply grabbed the bag, said "everything is in there," dropped it back down, and walked away. His tone felt very dismissive. I really enjoy the sushi here, but the attitude of the employees could definitely use some improvement. Service: Takeout.
