Athens Gyros - Alsip

Great place! King Huhn Gyro was delicious and a large part. The Lord at the counter was helpful, friendly and attentive. He seemed to know everyone who came in with their first name....a very frightening and admirable property that many companies have lost. Give him a shot!

I stopped on a day only on my way home and MAN OH MAN!!!! I love this family SMALL BUSINESS! Not only the owner is super nice and friendly. BUT THE FOOD! LIEBE IT!!! I have craved for Gyros so I ordered to go this KING GYROS original.... I was very hungry.... and OMG!!! That's a lot to say that two people can eat it. It was very delicious and beautiful tenderness to him...... Only FRESH! So I came back yesterday to try something else, and I bought this great gyro again. I bought this CHICKEN PASTA SALAD from SPECIAL... On the picture. I absolutely LOVE!!! So TASTY first. It's so good BALANCED on nutrition... Very fresh vegetables I LOVE and spices on grilled chicken only PERFECT and dressing on pasta. Love it. I started spreading word. Not only I ate a lot of this CHICKEN PASTA SALAD, but could not finish / it will be my dinner then / I feel like I ATE RIGHT and HEALTHY. The vegetables are SUPER FRESH!!! THE BUSINESS OF THE TERMS to GET RECOGNIZED!!! NOT TO THE LOVE, MAKE COSTUMER HAPPY with FRIENDLY ATTITUDE AND GOOD FOOD for GOOD, but also gives PEOPLE in the kitchen JOB. We needed to see her... I'll try some other stuff from her menu. It is very affordable and delicious. You look at me and look at me.... I ALSO TIP THEM even do not have JAR on the COUNTER LIKE OTHER PLACES DO. All of you! KEEP GOING to do the good!!

That was a hidden jewel we could stumble about. The food was good, the service was fast, the staff was pleasant, and the prices were great! We sat for dinner and enjoyed the atmosphere and signs. We will definitely eat again here.

A friend catered Athens’ Greek chicken, rice, potatoes and salad for a dinner party a couple days ago and OMG I’m in Love! I was blown away by each dish! I had low expectations figuring it would be tasteless as usual but EVERYTHING tasted homemade just like my Greek neighbor ‘mom’ used to make. And believe me that is a HUGE achievement becuz I have eaten all over trying to find a restaurant that measures up to that authentic flavor. So thank you Athens, look to hear from me soon becuz you’ll be catering MY Christmas Eve Party!

So good! We catered for my daughters 1st birthday last minute and the wonderful owners blew us away with the amazing spread of food. So grateful. Im in a picky eating stage right now as well and had to come back only days later for lunch! If you haven't checked them out yet I highly recommend
