District Iii - Alpharetta

This was our first time dining at District III. We enjoyed the vegetable spring rolls and a side of steamed veggies for our appetizer. I ordered pad thai and they were able to remove the egg and add tofu for me which was great! Others at my table learned that the spicy notation on the menu isn't just for looks, so be aware spicy means a sweat inducing spicy. The atmosphere was pleasant and we enjoyed reminiscing some of our travels over their photo wall.

Service was efficient and as a first timer food was good.

The food was outstanding, but the service was a bit slow. It seemed like the waitstaff had to handle too many tables at once. I will definitely return for more. The old fashioned cocktail was fantastic.

I recently visited what must be the worst restaurant I've been to in a long time. The table I was seated at was pushed so close to another table that it felt cramped and uncomfortable. The service was painfully slow. I ordered the spicy basil chicken, while my son had the lobster with garlic noodles. My dish only came with five thin slices of chicken, served on a plate that was nearly empty. My son's lobster was overcooked and unsatisfying. Overall, it was a disappointing and overly expensive experience.

Fantastic food and service! I ordered the shrimp curry, and it was outstanding! I would certainly come back for the meal. Our waiter was very attentive, and the food arrived quickly. Even on a busy Friday evening in Avalon, this place feels like a quiet hidden gem.
