Cantina Loca - Alpharetta

Great new place with fantastic staff! Food was very good!!

It hurts me to give a bad review. I don’t ever do it, but this one was over the line. My son and I went there tonight and no tables had people at them. There were about 3 tables outside with people, and a few folks at the bar. It was not crowded at all. We were sat and ordered a beer and a Sprite. So far, so good. I did ask if I could get a glass when the beer was brought in a bottle. Then we ordered guacamole. They didn’t have any chips, so we waived off the guac order. About 15 mins later they had chips and brought the guac. Get t was decent. 20 more mins later, our waiter informed us they lost our order, and had just put it in. Our drinks were empty and it took another 20 to get our food. Over an hour from entering an almost empty restaurant until we got food. Once it arrived, it was not good. The meat in my carnitas taco was over cooked and so rock hard it hurt to bite down on it and it cracked. My son didn’t care for his quesadilla so we just paid and left. Service was slow and food was bad. I won’t be returning, even for a free meal. I really hate to say that. I did notice a 100 on the health inspection. So that’s a positive.

We came in for lunch on a Saturday and were very disappointed. Food and drinks were less than mediocre and service was severely lacking. Portion sizes were comically small for the price. We were one of three tables in there and expected more from them. Will not be returning!!

Excellent lunch. My only problem was I can’t decide which of the Top Shelf Tacos I liked the best. Thanks Michael and we will be back

Service was great! Food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this Mexican restaurant.
