Cafe Efendi Mediterranean Cuisine

I have visited Cafe Efendi several times, and each experience has been fantastic. The food is outstanding, and the staff is very friendly. The music adds to the ambiance perfectly. There are plenty of tables available for guests, making it a great choice for groups. I typically make my reservations using the Open Table app. This venue is perfect for a fun night out, as it stays open late, and it’s also well-suited for large meetings.

The hospitality here is outstanding! I really enjoyed the drinks, and the homemade pita bread is simply amazing. We ordered the Blueberry Mule and Mediterranean Punch, both of which were delicious. For our main course, we had the whole fish with grilled vegetables, which was not only tasty but also large enough to share, as it includes a salad. I can’t wait to return and try the Adana chicken!

Overall, the food was good, but there’s definitely room for improvement. We ordered several dishes, and we particularly enjoyed the zucchini pancakes and the Sigara borek. However, some of the other items fell short in several respects. The kunefe was dry and lacked the syrupy sweetness it should have had, and the falafels were underwhelming as well. We were also let down by the service. Initially, it was okay, but it became difficult to get the servers’ attention, even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. It shouldn’t be necessary for customers to go to the counter to request their checks after asking for them. That said, the atmosphere and overall vibe of the place were fun and interesting!

Great ambience, excellent service and amazing delicious food. All we ordered was mouthwater. We were just sad that we didn't have room for dessert! Very recommended and will definitely be back!

In May 2022 I threw my friend a 40th birthday party at this restaurant, and 20 friends came. I worked with Alina, a manager there, and she helped me come up with a perfect family style meal that fit our budget. It was a Tuesday night so we had their beautiful enclosed patio to ourselves. They decorated with flowers on the table and it was gorgeous! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was so nice, the service was wonderful, and they made the birthday girl feel very special with the birthday song they played over the speakers and the sparkler candles. It was a perfect night! It was affordable for everyone, wonderful food, and a fun environment. Couldn?t have picked a better place, definitely recommend for large parties!
