Wanted to give -ve point if option is available. Super poor hospitality and queue so long to be told there is nothing left. Saw them prepare the food but it's for take away only. Then those who queue to eat were left with leftover dish to choose from. N some staff is not wearing mask properly

You can even finish the “tambah nasi” with the curry itself! The nasi and kuah is so delicious, trust me it is!

Nasi Lemak Haji Ali is another competitor to other Nasi Lemak branches in Kedah. While all these restaurants do not serve traditional Nasi-Lemak as we have always eaten for breakfast, it got a nice turn and fusion with Nasi Kandar. Enough, let's go to the real review of Haji Ali. The dishes are fantastic! I would say this is the best Nasi Lemak-Kandar-esque in the city (Alor Star). The fragrance and full of spices rice, with the fried chicken and extra vegetables fill your stomach to the fullest happy. Although the Daging Kicap was not really tender when I was there last time, the food was still great. I really recommended this place if you're in Alor Star. Expect a long queue, but it's worth it.
