Aloq Setaq's go-to spot for mee and kueh teow goreng, as well as mee rebus, has been around since the 1970s. The flavors are just as delicious as they have always been, and the prices are reasonable too.
Had a try on mee rebus ans mee goreng Mee rebus was not as expected, the gravy was made thick by corn flour instead of sweet potato, but was not too bad Just that i think Muar/Johor ones are better Mee goreng was otherwise nice With plenty of beef slices! Clean environment, but tempat makan sama macam gerai mamak biasa
The mee rebus was salty. Nothing else to say about it. The mee goreng was too dry and lack.of taste. I wonder why it was rated as the best mee goreng mamak in alor setar. Worst experience ever.
After almost a decade, I had a craving for Mee Abu's Koay Teow. It took a while for my order to arrive, and after finishing my meal, I left the restaurant. Within an hour, I started feeling unwell and my throat felt strange. By the evening, I vomited all the food I had eaten. I was completely disappointed and regretted going to Mee Abu. I am unsure about the type of oil and ingredients they use in their cooking.
