Arab Kitchen - Alor Setar

Those who are new to the area of Kepala Batas, Jitra and neighbouring areas should take note that the name of this eatery does not offer any Arab cuisine or any Mediterranean dishes alike. Instead, this restaurant is famous for their shell out and ikan bakar. Prepare yourself to dig into delicious seafood (a bit messy eating style) prepared in their special sauce to be eaten with white rice. You need to queue first to order and in between if you add order, they will add on the paper given for the later payment to be made.

Plenty parking spaces. Easy and simple ordering system. Drinks served quite fast during moderate crowded time. Great place for hangout with friends and families.

The parking space are spacious most of my family decided to eat western but its turn out that western food are unavailable at that moment. Only have pasta and their signature dish which is shellout. I read alot of very good review about shellout and I think because of that review, my expectation was over the moon. In my humble opinion, their shellout is so overrated. Nothing special about it. The sauce semua cukup rasa, nothing so special about the sauce. Also, I think the aglio olio used to much quantity of herbs yang menenggelamkan rasa aglio olio tu. As for bolognese pasta, its a thumbs up. Keep it up, Arab Kitchen!

Great shell out experience. Pure seafood no vege at all the kind that we like. The fruit juice is also quite a big portion for RM4.99. Shell out is RM38.90 for 2 persons. There are other menus too we'll try that next time, in sya Allah...

Food is really nice , average per pax MYR35.. hopefully can install the roof to prevent it from raining and make it floor higher to prevent small floods again
