Recommeded cafe in Alor Setar. Should try their duck spagetti with coconut latte. Nice ambience and great service from the staffs. Superb!!!

My family turned up at Caffè Diem after a long drive on the way to Kuala Perlis. We are glad we chose Caffè Diem after reading the reviews on TA. It lived up to the reviews and more. The coconut iced latte is possibly the best coffee drink I've ever had. The food is delicious! Great atmosphere. Fantastic service. They've got every aspect spot on! We loved our visit so much that we visited again the following week on our way back home. Even picked up a t shirt. Definitely recommended if in Alor Setar or the local area. They also have a bakery around the corner which we didn't try. Top tip: try a coconut iced latte!

We tried a few main course and deserts, everything was nice. Loved the iced Coconut Latte as it had nice touch of coconut and coffee. Poppy seed cake was light and nice on palate. The ambiance is nice cosy.

It is originally a colonial building that was restored into a trendy cafe. Majority of its patron are young people but it is also suitable for older crowd and family. The interior decoration is tastefully done. The walls have pictures of who 's who who frequented the cafe. It also has a room on the first floor that is dedicated in memory of Tunku Abdul Rahman. I also love the fact that there are some facts or history of the cafe and also facts about Tunku Abdul Rahman that were displayed on various parts of the walls at the cafe. Besides, I love it that the food is named in Malay and that gives the food a certain special feel about them. For example, instead of spaghetti carbonara, it is known as Mee Orang Puteh. What a clever idea! However, I feel that there are too many waiters there (though all of them are friendly which is also a plus point). A memorable cafe, I would say
