I do not recommend. We stopped by on Sunday afternoon, it wasn’t particularly busy.Greeted by trash bags and uncomfortable silence throughout. No music.Wait was 20 minutes for 4 tacos and 1 enchilada plate.Tacos were not good. The menu options are very strict. Like “yes we have shredded chicken but no you can’t have it on a taco. You have to have the cubed chicken on tacos.” The cubed chicken tasting a little bit like seafood(? I couldn’t figure out what the weird taste was.The salsa options are habanero or tomatillo.Menu photos were unappealing. There’s no reason for me to recommend La Poblanita. The service wasn’t great, the food was not good. We won’t ever be back.
Saw a write up on Eater and decided to try. Definitely not fancy inside, but that doesn't bother me.The cashier was friendly and helpful as the menu is unique. If you haven't been here before, there are a couple of things they will ask you.I got a torta, with Al Pastor, Chipotle, and the greens on the side. (He suggested the greens on the side as they have a unique taste. (A little more bitter than arugula.)The torta was huge. The flavors were great, a few bites spicier than expected. I was very full.Tried a couple of street tacos. Good but not mind blowingOverall a really solid first impression! I'll be back!
