The Eating Plaice - Alness

This is an excellent fish and chip shop located on the High Street, complete with a cozy dining area. I was greeted and served promptly, and the staff were friendly and courteous. The dining space was clean and inviting. I ordered haddock and chips, which were cooked fresh to order, served piping hot, and extremely delicious. The batter on the fish was perfectly crispy, and the chips were equally crispy and flavorful. I highly recommend this place and would definitely visit again.

I had a fantastic fish dinner here! The staff was welcoming and prompt with taking our order. They even included homemade tartar sauce with the meal. I’m giving it a 9/10 and I will definitely be returning!

This is an excellent fish and chip shop with an extensive menu. The food is expertly prepared and is pleasantly not greasy at all. The staff are friendly and work seamlessly together, like a well-oiled machine.

Was on holiday for a couple of days, will be back again soon.

Good all round chippy had a sit in meal scampi was fairly tasteless and very small portion but edible chips were ok served on a paper plate set up to get you in served and out as fast as possible
