Equator Coffee Roasters - Almonte

This is a very nice, casual coffee shop with comfortable seating, including an outdoor patio area. The decorations are fun and interesting too.They serve great, freshly ground coffee -- we always take a bag home with us. But its not just the coffee, because the treats are delicious too. Freshly made and local fare. I recommend the ginger cookies. Yum!

Terrific cappuccino, tasty muffin right out of the oven, friendly staff, warm feel. What's not to like?!

Love this little café, every kind of espresso and latte, not cheap. Free Wi-Fi . What I like is that it is friendly, casual, a little bit of a hippie atmosphere, It does not have a pretentious sit like Starbucks can or some other cafés. I really like that. They do a great job on latte art, have a variety of treats, you can buy the coffee or coffee making equipment, and they have jewellery and gifts from Africa. And I am guessing they support schools or coffee growers in Africa. It is a place that you can go, hang out, put your feet up, chat with your friends or surf the web and feel completely comfortable and welcome.

Great coffee and wifi. Half sweet maple latte just right. Nice snacks, including Hummingbird chocolate.

The coffee here is phenomenal - I have to come here to get my weekly Americano. This is the type of place that I wish I knew about when I visit other cities. I know about Equator because I live in the area - however, Equator Coffee is the kind of place that I would like to find in the places that I visit. I say this because their menu is fantastic, staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, the coffee is simply the best. If you are visiting Almonte, do your self a favour, visit Equator for some coffee and maybe a snack and after you are done, walk over to Dandelion Foods and get your health food fix.
