Staryy Ambar - Almetyevsk

Let's take it step by step. This place is not what it was ten years ago. Unfortunately, there's a lot of competition in the city. However, Ambar is appealing because of its prices. For instance, the noodle soup is just 90 rubles. Where else have you seen prices like that, except in cafeterias? The signature sausages with a side also cost around 300 rubles. Ambar offers the option to order dishes by proportion, allowing you to try more items. But time moves on, and other establishments are raising the bar. If things don’t change, Ambar's popularity is likely to continue declining.

The most pleasant thing about this place is the prices, and that's it. The concept of a tavern where people drink and children are nearby, seeing and absorbing everything, is absurd! What kind of upbringing is that, teaching kids how to drink? The outdoor seating is only open on weekends, which is a downside. The service during the week is lacking as there is only one and a half waitstaff, which is also a downside! The food here is just okay; it's much better in Kazan, in every aspect. Once again, it's only the price that stands out.

We had a pretty good time at this cafe. The dishes were varied and prepared quickly. There were some noisy guests who had quite a bit to drink, but that was beyond the cafe's control. Overall, we enjoyed it.
