Wharfside Patio - Alma

Great view, very friendly staff. we have the fried chowder and chowder, clobe quality! would eat here after the kajak!

We stopped in today and wanted just ice cream cones. It is a weird setup for ordering seafood, you order inside at the ice cream counter. I noticed they advertised world famous seafood chowder. Well, being from the Maritimes, I know seafood chowder. So we...ordered ice cream and a bowl of chowder to go... Wow. Almost $20 for 2 small ice cream cones and a cup of chowder, not a bowl, when I got home and opened the bag. Very small portion. And it took over 15 minutes to just get a chowder to go. Very slow. Brought it home to have with BBQ steaks. What a disappointment. Lots of seafood in it, I will admit, but no broth to speak of and they supplied packets of salt and pepper with it and a small tiny bun. I know why they put in s&p. The chowder had no taste. Bland as hospital food. I give this place a thumbs down.

We had lunch at the Wharfside Patio between a driving excursion and sea kayaking. We had basic burgers and fries which were great, fast and affordable. Their ice cream selections were excellent too. They have a small patio to dine there or food to go.

Casual eating outside by the water. Good prices and seafood. Been there twice and hope to go back next summer

For a place that advertises the best seafood in Alma they fell very short of the mark. Out of the lobster rolls, seafood chowder, fish and chips and poutines we had, the best part of the meal was the gravy for the poutine. I'm sure...there are better restaurants in the area that are a lot cheaper
