Klostergasthof (im Kloster Holzen)

We visited the small Christmas market. Here there were some beautiful craftsmanship and a delicious Bratapfelpunsch. The ambience through the monastery is really beautiful.

We had an overnight stay in the Holzen monastery on business trip. In the evening a dinner at the restaurant. The rooms are great and redesigned. All clean. I personally found the sink behind the shower little functional. Much too little light to apply a proper makeup. The magnification mirror actually needs light. Bed linen was not mine....cold and strengthened. TV very small and not visible from bed. But these were really the only points I would like to mention. Breakfast was great. Great products and everything freshly prepared. The monastery and the rooms are definitely something for the eye. Dinner was very delicious in the vault. Here, too, the ambience is great. We definitely come back and recommend it.

We had the restaurant as a really excellent meal in consciousness. This has changed today. We waited an hour for dinner. When asked if a dish was gluten-free, I got a salad with brown ends, with greenish-smooth pamp and bulgur, which is not gluten-free. The three cm large fish pieces smelled heavily fishy. I quickly stopped trying to order something else, as the service obviously had no desire for customers, conversations or any kind of service that goes beyond the absolutely necessary.
