Przekaż informację zwrotnąWebster defines a guest as “a person who pays for the services of a facility (like a hotel or restaurant).” Unfortunately, at Nottawasaga, being a “member” seems to hold much more importance. It became clear that some employees, upon realizing I was just a “guest,” treated me with disdain. While there were a few staff members who were genuinely helpful, the overall attitude reflected a troubling bias that made my experience quite unpleasant. There’s no reason for me to return; I’ll leave this place to the members. There are many wonderful resorts in Ontario that I’d recommend instead.
Imagine you own an electric car. The management might inform you that someone else paid to use the only outdoor electrical outlet that day, and therefore, you're not allowed to use it. This means that your car cannot be charged at the sole available spot. They praised the person who paid for the outlet beforehand, labeling him as "smart." Next time, if someone else has paid for the toiletries in your room, don't be surprised if they assign you a room without a bathroom! If your company has a corporate rate with this hotel, be prepared for the possibility that everyone who books under that rate will be treated as if they paid nothing. You may find yourself placed in the hotel's neglected, old wing without the option to ask for a different room. Perhaps they’ll even enforce a policy that makes it illegal for you to occupy that space in the future, simply because someone else made a smarter reservation. I've been here before, but this manager was far from friendly to guests. He likely has never taken courses on management or customer relations ethics. It's easy to imagine him disconnecting the fuse for the electrical outlet and claiming it's out of order. Finally, corporate partners should take notice of how the hotel's management may embarrass them by mistreating those who use their discounts, and golf enthusiasts should consider staying elsewhere, paying solely for the right to play rather than for accommodations here. A manager who cannot courteously address even basic issues should be removed from the front line, as they can tarnish the resort's image. A hotel that doesn't treat its guests fairly, renting out a shared electrical outlet to just one person, should not earn a dime of your money. Just my two cents.
We found this restaurant to be overpriced for what we received. Although the room was comfortable, it lacked cleanliness. I ended up using my own Lysol wipes on the counters, door handles, and light switches, and they were extremely dirty. There was also hair on the toilet and in the shower, and the phone in the room was quite unpleasant. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable and the room had been recently updated. We had breakfast at the restaurant, but the food was quite basic, and the potatoes were completely tasteless—I couldn't even eat them, and I'm not usually very picky. It seemed as though the food might have been prepared by someone with limited culinary training, which is fine, but a little more skill would certainly improve the experience. We also had trouble locating the indoor pool, as it wasn't indicated on the resort map, and there were no signs to guide us. Overall, while our stay was comfortable, I wouldn't choose to stay there again. There are other hotels available for half the price that I believe would offer a better experience.
I was in the nottawasaga inn last weekend. the facilities of the arena and the lobby of the hotel are nice. the children loved the pool and minigolf, but the rooms themselves were outdated for the price (we paid $475 for the weekend, a room two queen beds). on the second morning I reached under the sink where there was a dome with toilet paper and a box of kleenex and saw something dark and realized that there was a few boxers. I thought it was my 10-year-old slob, so I arrived and quickly noticed that they were a brand he didn't wear. then, provided they were my men I opened them, who confirmed that they were not part of our family, they were a xxxl and my man is a l. to be even worse, my son was now in the room when he heard me say oh brutto and they looked at me what was above them. seeing the Kleenex box in the same cubby made clear what it was. I called and asked someone to remove them and they did. these rooms were not thoroughly cleaned, because this price should not happen. Yes, I answered the bill the next day by email and mentioned the local and a kind of rabatt and they gave me 15% of a night that was about $20. Thank you. so rough. I never complained about a hotel stay and let many things go, but that was just too rough not to report. So they'll check their people, maybe they'll put on gloves.
Nice place, newer rooms are on the west bloc (the one that has 6 floors). The indoor pool is really nice with a water slide. Was there for a dance competition. Nice to have everything in the same spot.Would have been nice to have a buffet style restaurant for eating at different hours.
