Tuscan Inn - Allison Park

We held my daughter's baptism dinner in the lovely back room of the Tuscan Inn. Jason was outstanding; he truly went above and beyond to prepare a feast that catered to meat eaters, a vegetarian, and a vegan. The staff was just as remarkable as the food.

The food is above average, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The service was satisfactory, which are definitely the positives. However, there are some drawbacks. In my opinion, the prices for the dishes are a bit high considering their portion sizes, and the wine pricing is even more concerning. I understand there's typically a markup, but it feels like they're taking advantage of customers here. We decided to bring our own wine, but I found the corkage fee to be quite excessive—around seven times what I pay at a nice Italian restaurant in Bloomfield, where I'm currently sitting as I write this. On a $400 bill, you'd think they could waive one corkage fee as a courtesy. And how do you run out of meatballs?! Overall, I do like this restaurant and would consider returning, but only under certain circumstances.

The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. I attended a Christmas party at this venue, and everything was well organized. I recommend considering this place for your events in the back room.

I was visiting family from out of town and we decided to try this restaurant. The food was good, though not exceptional, but our waiter was fantastic. The menu offered a wide variety of options, which is pretty much what you'd expect from a Tuscan restaurant in the US. My favorite dish was the risotto, while my husband enjoyed dessert, which he said was quite tasty. Unfortunately, I was too full to sample any.

This restaurant is absolutely lovely. The food is fantastic, and I truly enjoyed my experience there. I highly recommend it to everyone, and I don't think you'll be disappointed!
