We ordered the breakfast Misubi which was taste and fresh and we also ordered the 2-2 plate which contained Kailua pork (Smokey flavor was good but way too salty) and grilled fish and two sides crab Mac salad and grilled broccoli (enjoyed this very much). The only down side is they do not serve cup water, but have to buy bottle. Overall, we would come back again in the future.
Amazing food, Hawaiian owned, friendly staff, donate-a-meal option, good portions. Will definitely continue to choose this over HB across the street now that we know about it!
We visited Kekoa’s Kitchen for the first time last night after trying a competing Hawaiian fast food place a few weeks before. We visited Hawaii this summer for the first time and have been on the hunt for the best authentic Hawaiian food in our area and Kekoas was by far better than their neighbor competitors. The owner was super friendly and helpful explaining the menu and options. They had a kids menu which was super helpful and my kids loved the meatballs so much we went back to get a second order. The crab Mac salad was so delicious! I was super pleased and we will definitely be visiting again. Don’t settle for overly sauced, low quality “Hawaiian” fast food and instead go to Kekoa’s where they serve authentic Hawaiian made from family recipes!!! Thank you for a great meal!
If you haven’t tried Hawaiian food hit up this place! We ordered the big islander for lunch and it was enough for two adults and a teenager which came out to around 26$ with three bottled waters! The food tasted great chicken was the bomb with the taste of sweet grilling added to the flavor. Came with two sauces on the side which were complementary of the pulled pork which was slightly salty but over all the food a was awesome!!!! Definitely coming back to this place.
I Love teriyaki and I love Hawaiian food, so when I saw the reviews on this place I wanted to give them a try. Unfortunately it wasn't as good as I expected and the menu pictures on Yelp were far outdated, to the tune of $4 more on each plate. I ate the teriyaki chicken and grilled shrimp combo, the teriyaki chicken was a little dry, they did not give me enough teriyaki sauce, and the macaroni salad was mediocre. The fact that they call it crab macaroni salad is misleading, it had zero crab flavor to it The chicken had good flavor and the shrimp was delicious, but as a whole it probably won't be a place I return to.
