Simply a beautiful place to sit and relax with the cafe’s dog Sango. Try the apple pie!
Great drinks, great food, great vibes. I went there with a mutual friend of my life partners when we were visitng Alkmaar. The place is relaxed, very friendly, and welcoming. They even have an in-house German Shepherd that is decidely at home either sitting near the bar, the middle of the floor, or even out on the street that seems to be almost entirely devoid of cars. We spent at least 2 hours there, relaxing, talking and joking with the staff. If you are looking for a break from the craze of the cheese market, this should be an absolute place to consider. The espresso and beer were top notch, but the environment is what really sold me on this place.
Nice place, a bit confusing inside but particular. It's a place located in a cozy small street in the center of Alkmaar where you can spend time without a rush. Friendly staff, honest prices and good cakes (especially the Apple pie)
