Mcalister's Deli - Algonquin

We decided to go here since we were in the area. After looking at the large menu of the options we have selected something else (drilled cheese, nachos, salad, pack). Everyone was happy with his choices, except my son with his grilled cheese. But I think it was because he wasn't very hungry. We'll try something else again. Friendly service!! Menu has some vegetarian options. UPDATE: For a month or so they had a Chimichurri plant base chicken sandwich, it was fantastic!! Unfortunately, it sounds like they get rid of it. I really hope they will return this as an option for salads, packs, etc.

McAlisters Deli is a beautiful place to go for a good meal and the prices are reasonable. The staff is professional and polite. Good work. If there is something that needs to be made aware when the employee who works in the register goes back. When he goes through the doors. Ruben was good. Potato salad was okay. Mac n cheese was tasteless for me and won't be back. Chicken Cesar wrap woman thought had a lot of dressing for her taste. That said there's a lot we're coming back to try. Nice clean restaurant with friendly service.

The staff was attentive and fast. Food was 4 out of 5 stars but the Cesar salad tasted like something from a salad kit you make at home. Nothing special. On the other hand the Mac and cheese was rich and creamy and super delicious. Great new option for the McHenry County area!

A delicious, well portioned sandwich. I got the New Yorker which has spicy mustard, cheese, and 10oz of meat on it. Serviced with a choice of side: chips, Cole slaw, potato salad, or mac and cheese. Also Congress with a pickle, which was fresh and crunchy. They offer a pick-two of their salads and sandwiches. Lots of gluten free options, vegetarian options as well.
