El Cortijo - Algodonales

The gelato is excellent and they do nice sandwiches but I wouldn't suggest it for tapas or dinner. There is a good atmosphere for football games and it is a friendly place but there is better tapas available elsewhere in town.

We visited here on the recommendation of a friend, and so worth going. the food was really good and although close to a main road it was surprisingly quiet. The only thing was that the menu in English didn't have all the Spanish tapas on it, so we ordered from the Spanish menu and hoped for the best! It was lovely and decent sized portions. Worth going a bit out of town for this place.

Loved the tiny sardines in this place (like whitebait) and the wines are good with quick and friendly service. One of our favourites in Algo

El desayuno es muy bueno. Tiene variedad y los molletes muy ricos. Tardaron bastante en atendernos pero la camarera nos decía que venía en cuanto podía.
