Sa Casa Mallorquina - Algaida

New owners of the nice Italian restaurant next to the church in Algaida. Completely new menu and seating indoors now. The lovely couple who now owns the place are really great. The chef has composed some incredible REAL Italian dishes and they are all cooked to perfection. We went back the next day to continue trying more dishes and we were very satisfied both times! Excellent wine selection with a lot of great Italian wines. Tell the sommelier what you preferences are and he will guide you through the food and wine choices. This place is a must-visit when you are on the island. Remember that the door handle opens upwards, in classic Mallorcan fashion They do not yet accept credit cards, but I hope that will change soon

I had an amazing experience at Sa Casa Mallorquina. Starting with the location, which is truly am hidden gem in Algaida. The atmosphere is welcoming, fancy but yet relaxed. The staff is very nice and focussed on giving you the best possible experience. The food is simply great. You get a small appetizer on the house with especially made focaccia bread. With my friends we managed to try almost everything and it was simply delicious. Truly Italian food but with a twist and a nice presentation. The price was moderate, especially for what we ate. Definitely going back!

Hermosa casa mallorquina reformada con gota exquisita y decorada en estilo francés pero manteniendo la esencia de las casas señoriales mallorquinas. tiene un patio interior donde las parrillas están habilitadas en lo que parecía a los viejos bloques. el servicio muy correcto, los chicos que nos asistieron son desviados y magníficos, aunque nos sentimos un poco incómodos porque el que parecía ser el dueño del local se sentó a pocos metros de nuestra mesa y parecía estar viendo cómo estábamos disfrutando de la cena. Pedimos surtido de croquetas para cortar y chupete de vaca menorquina con 45 días de maduración para compartir y picaña también para compartir. la carne estaba perfectamente preparada y bien sazonada. Intentaremos de nuevo el menú de degustación que se ofrece
