Starbucks - Alexandria

Great little Starbucks inside Target. Very friendly and busy barista, and she didn't let any of it get to her. Nice going!

Good place to get a coffee but can get kind of busy sometimes.

The cheese sandwich with sourdough bread was excellent. I should have ordered four!

Had the oddest experience?? Ordered a coffee frappuccino with coconut milk. The lady at the cashier (short, dark curly hair? kept asking me to pause on what I was saying because she was trying to rearrange the cups, which was understandable, so i said it again clearly for her after she got the correct cup. She still seemed a bit disconnected to what i was saying, though. Because I'm sensitive to milk, I watched the barista person (the one actually making the drink make it, and she made it with regular milk. I nicely asked her if she made it with coconut milk, and since she didn't, she offered to remake it with no upcharge. Super nice and professional. As I was the leaving, the dark curly haired lady left her station and went up to me, confrontationally, to tell me that I infact did not say coconut milk (even though I said it twice?? and rather than argue with her, I decided to leave. I didn't know what to do in this situation? It was extremely unprofessional and really unnecessary, given that I wasn't being rude about it and even asked if they wanted me to pay the upcharge. The person making the drinks was really nice, though.

Consistent disappointment across four visits. Dark roast coffee not available three morning visits in a row. Mochas taste more like milk than coffee.
