Rosemarino D'italia I Alexandria

What a charming Italian restaurant in Del Ray! We feel so fortunate to have discovered this gem. Surprisingly, we didn’t need a reservation on a weekend and were seated right away. I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices – just $20 for a plate of pasta, especially when many places charge $25 or $30! I started with the calamari, which was served with a deliciously spicy marinara sauce, and for my main course, I chose the carbonara pasta. It was incredibly creamy and flavorful, but I didn’t feel bloated afterward. The portion was just the right amount of savory. They also offered an excellent variety of drinks and cocktails; I tried the peach bourbon, which was fantastic. Overall, I had a wonderful meal and experience here! I’ll definitely be returning for more affordable Italian cuisine.

Was pleasantly surprised. Food was better than average, service was good, and atmosphere was cozy. My only complaint would be that Affogato should ALWAYS be served with one scoop of gelato and one espresso on the side . The guest will then pour the espresso over the gelato. .there is no other way. The restaurant and/or server should never bring it to you already mixed...if they do send it back. I would come back bc the food has a lot of potential and I want this place to be successful.

I'm thrilled that this place has reopened after being temporarily closed due to COVID. The atmosphere is great, the service is nice, and the pasta is delicious. Personally, I'm a fan of the Amatriciana, which is pancetta, onion, garlic, basil pesto, hand-crushed tomato, and homemade rigatoni. A must try, especially if you live in Del Ray or Old Town

Sadly really underwhelmed. Cacio pepe with homemade fettuccini tasted more like egg noodles in alfredo sauce. Bread for the bruschetta was barely toasted making the overall dish a bit soggy and unappetizing. My parter got a rigatoni with a meat and sauce and was underwhelmed as well for the $22 price. The mushroom appetizer was very good, as well as the cocktails. Maybe we will try again sometime, but for now this spot wont be on our rotation.

We've returned to Rosemarino a few times since its reopening, and it's just as fantastic—maybe even better—than before. A bar has been added, and while we haven't had the chance to sit there yet, we've thoroughly enjoyed the delicious cocktails now on offer. The pasta dishes are excellent, featuring homemade pasta cooked to perfection, al dente as it should be. Treat yourself and make a reservation to dine outside on a lovely spring evening. Welcome back, Rosemarino!
