Pupusas Express - Alexandria

This review is ONLY for the tamales.I am in complete disbelief. I ordered 2 corn tamales three hen tamales. The corn tamales were hard, dry and the only moisture it had was the steam from being in the box. The hen tamales were even worse. Two out of three tamales had nothing but broken bits of bones and it was difficult to eat. I found a random chicken wing in my tamale and that is not how the meat is to be presented inside. Unless you’re a lazy cook. I won’t be ordering this again. What a huge let down from my favorite location.

This place is a 10/10, this is my first time having authentic latin food and I gotta say they threw down in that kitchen definitely coming back with my girlfriend again.

Never had papusas before. Turns out I like papusas a lot. Like weird stuffed pancakes filled with deliciousness. Place is clean and orderly and wait staff was nice and on top of things. I recommend the jalapeño and cheese stuffed one.

Sunday late I got to pupusas Express they were about to closed but Cesar let us in and take the order right away the service that Cesar was amazing service . I will definitely come back to this place .

Horrible Pupusas don?t come here. More like masa tortillas than Pupusas. They actually have to put filling into the tortillas to call them Pupusas. Sorry honest opinion.
