Lou And Laura's - Alexandria

The food at this restaurant is great. The fried shrimp dish was excellent. Other menu options include broiled chicken, burgers, and catfish. The atmosphere is casual, and for the Fourth of July, a Christmas tree was decorated in red, white, and blue. There are plenty of seats available, and customers can place their orders at a counter. The service was efficient but not very friendly.

My family and I have been dining at this restaurant for many years. The food is consistently delicious. My personal favorite is the BBQ Po-Junge, but if you prefer chicken, I highly recommend trying their boiled chicken - it is outstanding! I have never had a bad meal here.

I highly recommend Lou and Laura's for their delicious food and friendly service! I order lunch from this restaurant once a week and always get the dressed beef poboy, which I absolutely love. My coworkers also enjoy the BBQ beef poboy and broasted chicken, which I've tried and can confirm are also very tasty. The employees, especially the sweet lady at the counter, are always very friendly. In all the times we've ordered from Lou and Laura's, they have never once made a mistake. It's rare to find such consistently great service at most places.

I have been dining at Lou Laura's since I was a young child. While it is similar, the sauce and flavor of the chicken have both changed over the years. It seems like they may be using a different seasoning now. Overall, the food is good, but it just doesn't quite taste like the original recipe.

I recently had the best burgers in a long time at this restaurant! Sam's burgers are amazing! We also heard he's a great dancer!
