Juliano's Pizzeria - Alexandria

I was thrilled to discover a sub shop that serves authentic Philly cheesesteaks. We tried two different types, and both were excellent. Their fries were fantastic as well!

Every appetizer we sampled was spot on; the sampler had everything perfectly fried without being greasy or overcooked. Each dish came with delicious dipping sauces—ranch, honey mustard, and marinara, all mouthwatering. The wings were our favorite, lightly crispy with just the right amount of sauce. The fried mushrooms were a delightful mix of batter and breadcrumbs. The supreme pizza was incredible, piled high with toppings on a crust that was just the right thickness and wonderfully chewy. The cheese and sauce were perfect, and the toppings were all fantastic, especially the thick, grilled mushrooms (my favorite). I can't wait to try the other specialty pizzas! The breadsticks were substantial and brushed with cheese, garlic, and butter, resembling untied garlic knots. The accompanying marinara was incredibly fresh and zesty! We were so full from the appetizers and pizza that we haven't even touched the massive pepperoni calzone we ordered, but it looks gigantic! The dessert menu has a great variety. I ordered a slice of chocolate mousse cake, which was beautifully packaged for takeout with drizzled chocolate sauce and powdered sugar! It was so delicious that my husband—who isn’t usually one for sweets—ended up eating half. I will definitely be getting that again, and I look forward to trying other desserts too. The woman who took my order over the phone was extremely friendly and professional. My husband got stuck in traffic picking up our order, and she kindly kept it warm in the oven until he arrived about 15 minutes late. Everything we tried on our first visit was a complete success, including the outstanding customer service. We will definitely be coming back for more!

Juliano's serves some really tasty food. My wife and I especially enjoy their pizza and wings. Their calzones and mozzarella sticks are also quite good.
