Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams - Alexandria

Decided to grab a scoop of ice cream off the late night at Jeni’s for the first time and i was instantly greeted by ian! he was very sweet, professional and showed excellent customer service! he let us try all the flavors we requested and gave us recommendations on what would suit our taste buds based on the time of day 10/10 definitely will be back! :

I love the creativity that they put into the ice cream flavors. It was so hate to choose. There are only two dairy free choices to pick from. The chocolate one had a very unbinding texture like it was broken into bits. So we got the lemon bar. It is very lemony and coconuty from the coconut milk. We pick the brambleberry crisp. It was an ice cream flavor we have never had before, and i mean it in an amazing way. The crisps have a cookie dough texture. Not sure if brambleberry even existed, but if they did, I would like some fresh one. We glad we made a trip to get these scoops after dinner.

As a tourist, I was randomly wandering along the King Street and spotted this shop. Of course I can't resist any ice cream so I decided to give it a try. The place have nice setting with seating area. I asked the staff to try two flavors (Coffee With Cream Sugar and Brown Butter Almond Brittle) first and I like both instantly. I usually not in favor of brown butter, but the one in Jeni's is so tasty and not too sweet. The staff is nice and patient and gave me big scoops. The shop also provides self served water. Very thoughtful of them. They also have 2 neutral gender restrooms for customers to use and they are well maintained.

Good creamy texture and flavor. 5.75 for 1 scoop or 2 half scoops...a little pricey. Many flavors, line is long, and only 2 people working. Would come back if in the area.Back on 9/7/23 ordered Signature 3 flavors. The waffle bowl was to stale and chewy not crispy like the cone. Ice cream flavors are good.
