Genova Pizza - Alexandria

We ordered a Hawaiian pizza and a taco pizza. The positive aspects were the affordable price and the quick delivery. However, we were disappointed by the soggy texture, lack of flavor, and insufficient amount of toppings on both pizzas.

We arrived at the Marriott Courtyard late and noticed the neon sign across the street. The owner and pizza maker was very friendly, wearing a smile on his face. We ordered exactly what we wanted, waited a few minutes, and walked back to the hotel with dinner in hand. The pizza was piping hot, had a great crust, and was loaded with toppings. It was a fantastic spot for the locals and a great find for my daughter and I. Thank you to the owner for making such a delicious pizza! We will definitely be back again.

Side salad was simple but deliciously fresh. And the ranch dressing was the kind I love that you can only get at mom and pop burger joints. But service and food was 5 star, I made my own stromboli of pepperoni, sausage and mozzarella. Dough, cheese, toppings and sauce satisfied my craving for good bread.

Updating.. love the pizza! Also try the fried zucchini sticks. Yummy! They still need desserts on the delivery menu. Sometimes you want something sweet after your meal. I was going to order, but there are no desserts. I have never seen a place with no desserts. Crazy!

I stumbled upon this place, and I got hooked. The pizza is delicious, even the pineapple pizza, and their fries are well seasoned. I recommend to all.
