Franconia Pizza - Alexandria

This restaurant offers great fast American food without being a steakhouse. If you're looking for something tasty and uncomplicated in a clean environment, this is the perfect spot.

I enjoyed a delicious tuna sub loaded with fresh ingredients, accompanied by a generous side of crispy fries. The sub came on a perfectly toasted 8-inch bun with just the right amount of mayonnaise and perfectly seasoned tuna. It was cooked just right, not overdone at all. My meal was served by my friend from Nepal, and the atmosphere of the place made it feel wonderful, especially for around $12 a year—what a steal! The drink dispenser had run out of ice, but I was offered a cold bottled beverage from the cooler instead. As I enjoyed my quiet meal with some news playing on the TV overhead, it really turned my rough day around. I noticed that most of the other patrons were hardworking men, though a few women came in for takeout and a quick bite as well. I think it’s time to let the secret out about this place! As for my main course, I was really disappointed with the fish fillet. It was a thin, cardboard-like piece of fish that was overcooked to the point of being burnt. Fortunately, I added the bacon to my sub, creating a makeshift B.L.T. Fish Crisp sub, which salvaged the meal a bit. Overall, this experience really hurt my feelings and ruined my dinner!

First time ordering from Franconia Pizza! Great customer service! I?m from PA and today is Valentine?s Day and my mom (widower) lives in VA. I wanted to send her some good food and Franconia Pizza was able to deliver! I ordered a #3 Calzone and added veggies, chicken wings, onion rings, tiramisu and cheesecake! All was delivered in a timely manner! They even added a note, which made my mom so happy! Thank you so much!! ??

Super Combo Pizza and Chicken wings with Mumbo sauce! All I wanna say is good bye to Papa John 's, Domino 's, Pizza Hut, etc. Why? Looking at these toppings!!!! And I 'm in loooooove with the crust. The chicken wings with the mumbo sauce are great as usual
