Darrell's - Alexandria

Something has changed at the Alexandria location. Not a Friendly staff anymore, in fact the cashier didn't ask a single question nor speak just stood at register took order handed cups without a single word. Might be normal to some but was Odd to our group.Food: 3/5

Darrel's is the place to go in Alec for a down-home southern cooked burger! Always cooked fresh to order, and it melts in your mouth every time! I get mine with 2 patties and jalapeno and bacon, and let me tell you now, there is no other fast food in town that holds a torch to this burger! And the fries?! YES, please! They LOAD the bag with fries, and they always have the perfect crunch. Stop in and see Darrell. You'll be glad you did.

Honestly I've never really had good experience at this location. My staff would call in separate orders and I'd pick it up. Multiple times the lady who was working drive thru would get mad at me because she said she didn't know it was separate orders for separate payment even though she had the name of each person and their order separately written down. Apparently the person taking the phone order was different than the person dealing with drive thru. She did this multiple times despite my staff specifying separate orders and payments. I tried to be understanding the first time but after the third time of getting reamed for her own misunderstanding and I refused to pick up orders from there ever again. Haven't been in at least 8 months. Burgers are good. Chicken and such is fairly bland. Darrell sauce is good. It's basically Cane's sauce. The restaurant in Tioga is more polite but food takes forever. Waited almost 30 minutes for a BLT. Only item ordered.

Best Burger in Town! Great Food and Great Service, what more can you ask for? Food is cooked to order and was delicious. Definitely will go back!
