Applebee's Grill - Alexandria

Had dinner here tonight! Our food was fresh hot. We ordered the 2 meal deal, 2 salads cheeseburgers fries! What a great value. Our server was outstanding, we didn’t even have to tell her we need a drink refill and she was right there if we needed anything even though the restaurant was super busy. I highly recommend this location!

Evidently, customer service is not a priority at this restaurant. On Sunday, August 7, at 5:53 pm my wife placed a phone order. We received a confirmation text message stating the order would be ready for pickup at 6:14 pm. At that time, I walked in through the To Go order entrance and noticed four employees at the register. Some were engaged in casual conversation while another processed a transaction. Minutes later, more waiters and the manager also gathered. After an 8 minute wait, no one offered to assist me. I then approached the manager and asked about my order. He asked the name on the order which I provided. He indicated that he would go check on it and walked into the kitchen never to be seen again. At 6:45 pm I informed a waitress of my very long wait and she retorted that they have a lot of orders pending and that I just have to wait my turn. Rather than engage in a verbal altercation with this ignorant waitress, I walked out of the restaurant and will never return to that location. The disrespect and indifference by employees and manager I experienced at this location is beyond reproach. Restaurant needs a complete makeover of personnel. Customer deserve better!

I dine here quick often! Last night, they screwed my order up! I returned, like I was asked and they would not offer me a refund! No so much as a gift card, this is a first! I only deal with selected in here! The mgr is not experienced enough for this position!

I understand they may be understaffed but when you see two servers in the section your seated in and they blatantly just walk by you then you start to realize it?s just bad customer service. My boyfriend and I came out tonight and got seated quickly but we sat at our table for over 20 minutes watching other people be served and tables being cleared without anybody coming over to ask us what drinks we?d like. Since we don?t like to demand service or cause a scene, we decided to get up and leave, we walked right by the hostess and she didn?t even say anything. Definitely won?t be coming back here.
