l'Assiette Alesienne

Visited on a quiet Monday. The duck with honey was particularly good. The children’s burger and croquet was a hit. Service was great, very helpful and the chef even popped out to make sure we were happy.

L'Assiete Alesienne offers great deals if you go for the menue fixe. They have a €24.50 option and one for €31.50. We went for the higher priced one as it featured foi gras with sweet apple and a mixed salad with balsamico fressing lovely! and the beef fillet with ratatoille ans mashed potatoes with chives perfectl cooked . Great fish menues are avilable as well. One can then select any of the available nine desserts which are also great. They also offer wine by 500ml at very reasonable prices. We just went with the house wine €7.50 which was good given the very low price point. Service is very good, though no English is spoken and no English menues are available. Luckily a kind local helped us translate the critical parts. Apart from us there were no tourists in this place, so if you desire a local restaurant with very reasonable pricing L'Assiete Asienne is for you. Highly recommended!

Just went in for lunch on an Easter Saturday. Went for the cheapest option, the €13.50 menu. Three courses with a choice at each stage. Included a trout in lemon sauce and a hearty beef cheek stew. The à la carte selection looked very impressive too, though pricier. Friendly service, and a pot of rosé for €6 wrapped up an experience I will definitely repeat.

15 Aout. Menu unique a 19€. Eh bien il se sont bien débrouillé. Bonne humeur et correct dans l'assiette malgré un resto qui était bondé et la pluie qui a rapatrié les client de la terrasse....
