Unfortunately they no longer do them. So disappointing because not many places do make them. The hot and sour soup had not much flavor, just hot. And that was it for disappointments. The moo shu seemed to have fresher ingredients than other restaurants I’ve tried and had great flavor. The BBQ beef ribs were huge, and it was a “small” order. The pork lo main was very flavorful. We will be back. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
The service was outstanding! Easily one of the nicest servers! I almost wanna say she was even an owner. Super helpful and knowledgeable about the menu! The sides were out of this world! I had the wonton and the egg drop, they both tasted homemade. Some places you go there is almost a chemical aftertaste but here, it was as if a grandmother made it! It was an absolute chef's kiss. The spring rolls were dynamite! Egg rolls had so much flavor and don't even get me started on the crab ragoons! Just absolutely banging! My wife got the general TSO with pork fried rice and I had the sesame chicken. Both were pretty good. A 7/10. The sauces were a little bit sweeter than I was expecting but still dynamite! Overall, it's definitely set up to be a take out but the welcoming atmosphere allows you to still have a good time and really enjoy everything when you dine in. It is a little bit expensive than we were expecting but we also did get quite a bit of food. My wife got a bubble tea that was very good. I got a diet Pepsi. However, know that the drinks will NOT be included into the price just because you dine in. But this place is definitely one of the best hole in the wall Chinese places I have been too in a long time! Vegetarian options: They had a whole section of the menu dedicated to vegetarian options. As I am not vegetarian I didn't look into these options but I did notice a good amount of items even dispersed throughout the menu of vegetarian options! Parking: At least 8. Parking lot could use maintenance but it is easily navigational. Kid-friendliness: The eating area is open and easily visible. The kid friendly options that they had were surprisingly a good amount! Wheelchair accessibility: It's all one level. Inside the restaurant is open enough for easily mobility. Everything I have ever had has been fresh, hot, and put together with love. I've really only eaten in (did take out once and it was slightly worse, but I blame that Asian food typically doesn’t travel well), and each time it has been fantastic. Highly recommend this place--even the Thai and Vietnamese dishes are perfectly done--which is often not the case. General Tsos, Vietnamese Spring Rolls, and even the standard Beef with Broccoli are all great choices. Kid-friendliness: Staff is extremely friendly to children, accommodating, and patient. Great place. Food is always good and I don't feel like I'm getting conned like at other Chinese Restaurants. Their General Tsao's is the best I've had in NY. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
