We visit Sant Francesc when we can, and less than we would like, since it is a gastronomic space that combines the traditional dishes of Alcoyan cuisine with the creations of Chef David Sandín, all based on local products, very well elaborated and in which the upward trajectory of its author is reflected. Cuqui is in charge, like a good hostess, of tending the room and advising the diner among the proposals offered on the menu, the choice being difficult due to the great attractiveness of each dish. We decided to share five starters, all delicious, but the “Fig Carpaccio with Iberian ham, mint and pine nuts” shines with its own light, for its successful combination of flavors. We enjoyed a pleasant moment, in a quiet atmosphere, savoring their excellent cuisine, honest, well prepared and presented, and at a very reasonable price for the quality of the product and its careful preparation, the total for two people being 67 euros, wine included. .
