Imperial Chopsticks - Albury

I've been there for lunch before and it was pretty average Chinese food. Made the mistake of taking my family to dinner there on Saturday (only 4 of us) as restaurant was a full house. The service was appalling - I had my hand up to order for quite some time while the staff just walked past and seemingly ignored me. Waited 50 minutes for our food and although it tasted ok, was underwhelming and was lacking the vibrant colour of fresh vegetables.

The choice and the quality of the food ranged from good to very good but the redeeming feature of this place was the friendly service. At the end of the night, everybody went away smiling and satisfied.

Some of the meals are ok, not great. The fried rice is not fried, I'm sure it hasn't even seen a wok and with a few sprinkles of what looks like spam and a couple of peas it isn't very appealing at all. The vegetarian fried rice is better it at least has some vegies in it. Steamed Dim Sims are yummy though.

Came here to buy a dinner takeaway. Staff is friendy and food is Okay. Price wise it's reasonable. Tried their duck with orange sauce and did not like their sauce. Would avoid ordering it the next time.

Very busy restaurant serving both in house and take away customers. Good menu selection, excellent food, reasonable prices and friendly staff
