Commercial Golf Club Bistro - Albury

I returned the chicken because it was undercooked and the chips were cold. The panko crumbed barramundi was just okay. They also informed us that we couldn't take our leftovers home in our own container because they didn't have a takeaway license, which is not a legitimate requirement in Australia. Additionally, we were not happy with the policy that everyone at the table had to order a full meal.

We arrived to find great difficulty in getting down the stairs to sign in. Myself being a member did not have to worry about signing in. There was no access for disable persons to make getting downstairs easier, with the result our group had to have help from others to descend to the reception. I had pre ordered all our group's choices of meals as I always do. The cashier told me which tables were ours so all our group could finally get seated. When the meals started to be served the same choices all came out together and waitress called out the names and the service was so very very good. We all had our meals and thoroughly enjoyed them. No complaints at all from our group. Would return there again. Great food and great service. Compliments to all. (They need to do something about the reception area to make it easier for elderly persons)

We went there for lunch at the last moment, the service was good and the staff very friendly. The lunch was most enjoyable with a great view to the golf course.

Recently refurbished, tasteful, welcoming club presentation. Views of golf course, kangaroos comfortable, tranquil rolling greens. High ceilings to frame the picture. Great waitress, good food, really fair prices. Well worth the drive.

We stayed at the motel on site and had our lunch and dinner at the bistro. Tip here is to go into Albury commercial club and become a member as the savings will pay off in one night. The club bistro is he order at cashier and deliver to table set up. Service was stretched as lack of staff evident. Long wait to order and long wait for food. Drinks at the bar ok. The steak I had must have died of old age and salad very ordinary. That said nice view of golf course.
