Baan Sabai Jai - Albury

Recently stayed overnight in Albury and this place was in walking distance and other places were closed. The food itself wasn't too bad but a bit over priced at around $25 a dish for take away and the serves were small. To top it off they wanted a credit card surcharge.

Visited here years ago and one of our best Thai meals. Fresh non greasy prawns wrapped and deep fried . Duck (no bones) noodles and a prawn stir fry with ginger was delicious. Serves very big though.

The place has changed since the last time I was there. I always eat there because the fish is yummy and not too expensive. The girls are always friendly. But when I went there with my hubby the service was ****. It was early lunch. Ni one smile, not too friendly. It will be a while before I go back. Even though the food is yummy but if service is **** it turns me off.

This is one of my all time favourite places to eat, and have been coming here for a long time, even though it has changed locations, great food and prices, what you see is what you get.

Really great Thai food pretty authentic, the staff were lovely, the outdoor kitchen reminded me of Thailand. !
