Taqueria Mexico - Albuquerque

I ordered the beef taco special and specifically requested no onions. However, when I got home and opened it up, I found that there was no cheese or salad—only onions and cilantro. The meat was dry and only lightly seasoned. Based on all the positive reviews, I expected much better.

The food and service here are exceptional. From the moment I arrived for lunch and noticed that the restaurant was packed with locals, I knew I had found the perfect spot to eat. During my 2.5 days in town, I ended up dining here twice. The food is fresh, made with high-quality ingredients, and they offer a wide variety of Mexican and New Mexican dishes, which makes this place truly special. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable.

The staff are friendly, which is a plus, but the food leaves much to be desired. It's odd for a Mexican restaurant to lack salsa verde. The chicken burrito contains plain white chicken with no spices or flavor. While it's a generous portion, I only managed to eat half because it just didn't taste good.

Huge Burritos. I get the chorizo and egg breakfast Burrito and add hashbrowns and beans, delicious. You have a massive Californian Burrito Define a Must!

Good. Purchased but only for 2nd time. Not busy. I wish the salsa was spicier. No salsa Verde, or avocado salsa.
