Yes, meals come with rice, but if your meal is primarily rice it is disappointing. Eat here for the first time and quite disappointed. The search continues for a good Asian restaurant.
I ordered kung pao only because of the peanuts and the fact it’s always spicy not this time. No peanuts and no chili flakes or spicy added at all. Very bland. Steak was good that’s about it. Plate full of carrots and peas but not what I want. I spoke with a manager she came up with excuses but didn’t bother to exchange or credit.
I had been sick and couldn't eat for two days. When I was finally better I wanted Pad Thai that I usually get at the Coronado location. I ordered extra sauce on the side. They put none on the food and gave me soy sauce instead of the sauce they actually use which I proceeded to pour on the entire dish and ruined it. They didn't add peanuts or the extra egg I ordered either. I basically paid $15 for dry noodles and 4oz of chicken. Trash. I'll never ever eat or order from there again.
Food wasn’t the best. Two cooks were professional in their uniform doing their job, then you have this other guy wearing a hoodie with a hat backwards. He was constantly touching his phone then goes to fix food without washing his hands…. In his late teens or early 20s super loud and obnoxious. Cross contamination isn’t good.
So Mongolian beef was one of my favorite dishes from there. The only issue is consistency. Sometimes it was great. Sometimes it was not that great. Apparently someone at headquarters decided that a reduction in business was because the price it’s not it’s because of consistency would I pay more for Mongolian beef if it’s prepared, right, yes easily 50% more so now they brought in a chef and come up with new dishes that are more affordable. They put disgusting carrots in their fried rice. Thank you for ruining one of my favorite restaurants. You don’t understand your niche in the restaurant business, you’re higher end, quit trying to be bargain.
