Monroe's - Albuquerque

It is one of the better New Mexican restaurants in town. Great salsa, and don't skip the Carne asada chimichonga it's always constantly good.

We picked up a tray of enchiladas on Christmas Eve and they were absolutely delicious. Everyone loved them. They were very kind when I picked them up, packaged well, very generous with the chicken, and the chile had a great flavor and wasn’t too spicy. I’m so happy we went with them for our Christmas Eve meal and we will definitely be back.

We love Monroe's and have eaten here for years. All the food is really good, and the calabacitas are the best in town, never overcooked or soggy. The service is great, partly because of their system they have, where any of the staff will assist you with refills and etc, not just your assigned server. Also Monroe's has THE BEST iced tea in the city. I know that sounds like a minor thing, but it's not. Tea people know the difference between good tea and lousy tea, and the Monroe's iced tea is great.

Best NM food, hands down, we go at least 1x a month! So good, we moved but today since we are in town we had lunch, very good! Still the best in December 2023!

Always great service, delicious food. The atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. I've been going to Monroes for way over 20 years. Never been disappointed.
