Los Cuates - Albuquerque

Whenever we visit Albuquerque, we make it a point to stop by this restaurant. I really enjoy the variety of salsas that come with the chips, and their green chili is fantastic!

I've been to this restaurant three times in the last two months, and while it’s not quite the same as I remember from my childhood, the food remains incredibly tasty and it’s definitely the best New Mexican cuisine in the state! The sopapillas seem to have changed a bit, but I'm still a fan. The food is consistently great, the drinks are perfectly crafted, and the atmosphere is unbeatable! Most importantly, the servers are friendly, hardworking, and attentive; they truly enhance every dining experience! I especially love the cantina, but every dining area is enjoyable. The photos I shared are from my most recent visit. The salsa that comes with the chips tastes just like I remember from my childhood, which is why I’m so particular about other salsa, haha. We will definitely be back!

I had a great experience at this restaurant! The chips and salsa were fantastic, with the salsa having a unique twist that seemed to be BBQ-based. The drinks were not only excellent but also reasonably priced compared to other places. I absolutely loved the watermelon margarita! The food was served promptly and tasted wonderful. The photo I took is of the chimichanga. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area!

The food was absolutely delightful. I enjoyed the shredded beef enchiladas, while my partner had the Carne Asada plate. Even though they have won awards for their salsa, I must admit I'm quite particular about mine, haha. Overall, the food and service were exceptional.

The food was excellent, the portions were generous, the prices were reasonable, and the salsa was outstanding. Our waiter was polite and attentive.
