I've been on the hunt for delicious barbacoa since moving from Cruces, and I finally discovered it at this restaurant! It’s absolutely fantastic—I would say it’s the best I’ve ever had. I will definitely be returning for more. Food: 5/5

Without a doubt, Barbacoa El Primo offers the best barbacoa in New Mexico. Having grown up in a Mexican family and traveled frequently to Mexico, I have a good grasp of what authentic barbacoa should be like, and this place is my favorite for its delicious, non-greasy offerings. The service is exceptionally friendly and efficient, reminding me of home. I highly recommend it to all my family and friends!

This place is one of the best restaurants in New Mexico. The service, the food, and the people. I come here every couple weeks with my girlfriend and it always hits!
