Asian Pear - Albuquerque

This is one of the gems hiding in a corner strip. The place is small set with 8 tables max. The style of pay first is a trending more now in NM. Onto the food. It is without a doubt some of the best Korean food I have had in awhile. The best side or main dish if you wish is the Veggie Pancake! The sauce that comes with this as well is the perfect condiment for it and the other food as well if you are a sauce person. The level of spiciness with food label spicy is moderate for anyone. The way the pork and chicken have been grilled was perfect nothing overcooked or undercooked. Most notably was the owner! She was willing to work with a customer who was vegetarian but had allergies, in addition was willing to customize menu items at zero cost. If that is not customer service then I don't know what is.

Little Korean eatery. Pretty good. The egg roll was the best. It wasn’t busy and wasn’t expensive. All plastic ware. Cashier was polite. You order your food at cash register and then they bring it to your table.

We ate ramen kimchi pancakes. YUM! The food was delicious wveryone was super friendly. While we were eating, a very nice lady (the owner? even brought us samples to try. I highly recommend it!

Asian Pear is one my favourite restaurants in Albuquerque. My partner and I have eaten here almost weekly since we discovered it in 2020, and it’s still a huge craving for us. We always order a combo Kim Bowl with chicken, beef and brown rice with either Ito En green tea or Thai tea (which is never watered down and always flavourful!! Lately we noticed that they offer a fried egg as a topping for the bowls, and it made an already amazing dish even better! Their bento boxes, Kim chi pancakes, potstickers, vegetable rolls and kim Bob are also very tasty! We have never had a bad experience at Asian Pear, the staff is always friendly and will go out of their ways to accommodate our preferences. The food is always delicious. We definitely recommend giving them a try if you’re craving Korean BBQ!

Hands down one of my and my husband’s favorite places to eat! The food is always on point and the staff is always amazing. Definitely recommend the bulgogi bowl, veggie pancakes, and pot stickers. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed!!
