Abc Cake Shop Bakery - Albuquerque

We ordered a gluten-free cake for our child's birthday and it was fantastic! We were not disappointed at all. I highly recommend their gluten-free cake!

I had never visited this bakery before, but after hearing my friends rave about it, I decided to stop by last minute for a birthday celebration. I chose a chocolate cake from the display and had it personalized quickly. I also picked up a carrot cake. Despite being busy, the service was fast. When I got home, I was happy to find that both cakes tasted delicious. The chocolate cake was not overly sweet and was very moist. The carrot cupcake was just right for me - not too sweet with the perfect amount of flavor. The cream cheese frosting was light and not artificial tasting. I'm looking forward to trying more items from this bakery based on this great first experience.

Went to pick up a last minute birthday cake today and was helped by an extremely kind worker. She helped my partner and I pick out the perfect cake and was just so kind. I won’t go anywhere else for cakes! We got a chocolate cake with strawberry filling and it was soooo good paired with vanilla ice cream! I’m going to be back soon for another cake! This time custom ordered!

All of our family have been going to ABC Cake Shop since they opened. We ordered two cakes in the last week and we noticed there's an insane amount more frosting than the layers of cake. The filling in the middle was almost an inch thick. ABC was impeccable in the past now it's hit or miss with the cakes and the staff. This last girl wasn't very friendly when I picked up the one cake and placed the order for the second cake

I am once again disappointed with this restaurant. As a child, we always got our birthday cakes from here. However, after a negative experience where they were rude to my mother, I stopped going. I decided to give it another chance and ordered my son's 12th birthday cake there. The person who gave me the cake was kind and helpful, but when we decided to purchase more pastries, a rude and unprofessional woman took over the sale. Her behavior was disrespectful, even to my children. The cake we received was mediocre and poorly designed. I paid $63 for a quarter sheet cake that was not worth the price. I am disappointed in the service and quality of this restaurant and will not be returning. I urge others not to support them until they improve their customer service and product quality.
