Great Meals, cooked and delivered by one chef who does the whole restaurant all by himself! It was incredible! The food was fenomenal, exquisite, just indiscribable. Friendly chef who takes pride and passion into every dish he serves. We complimented him on every meal he set in front of us. He gave us free toasted bread. At the end of the night he came to us with cherry port and 5 glasses and took a port with us. It was a great night. The bill was too low for what we eat. So we gave him a big tip. GO IF YOU CAN! THE NIGHT WILL BE UNFORGETABLE!
The only place in Albufeira we found worth eating in for authentic local tapas. A food loving couple, but three feral (and a bit fussy) kids, this place was perfect. We did some research and without any real social media presence we took a gamble and it was everything we wanted and more! The food was exceptional, the restaurant small (maybe 5 tables) but the owner was relaxed and engaging with the kids. We ordered one of everything, three cokes and a bottle of wine all for under £110. The mackerel and cuttlefish were outstanding and this is the only place we found that was genuinely worth eating in for a Portuguese flavour in the 12 days we spent in the algarve. If this was in a UK city then you would be queuing around the block and I can’t rave about it enough. The Algarve coastline was beautiful, but the vibe of almost everywhere from Faro to the far West tip was awful Brit abroad but this was our find of the holiday.
